Meet the Publisher

Sydney Kate, more commonly known as SK, is the founder and publisher of One Lovely Mess High School Literary Magazine. 

The summer before her senior year of high school, SK served as an editor and contributor to a high school publishing company in Atlanta. Almost a decade later, not to show her age, she found herself baffled to discover not only is the program of which she was a part no longer in existence, but there are none, or at least none that she could find in her Google search, left. Subsequently, she felt compelled to create something that will offer the same opportunity that she once had - to share her work with the world. 

If you know SK, you know she "will do anything for the plot and the portfolio." It only follows she would encourage other young creators to do the same. And so, One Lovely Mess was born. 

When she is not freelance writing or crafting your next favorite story, SK can be found wherever there is live music.
